MEETING FACILITATION
Meeting facilitation concerns itself with all the tasks needed to run a productive and impartial meeting. Facilitation serves the needs of any group that is meeting with a common purpose, whether it be making a decision, solving a problem, or simply exchanging ideas and information. It does not lead the group, nor does it try to distract or entertain.
Examples of meeting facilitation services provided by Outcomes include:
Identification of outcomes and objectives - developing and articulating the purpose of the meeting and the desired results
Develop meeting agenda - helps attendees prepare ahead of the meeting, focus on the right issues during the meeting and clearly identifies what needs to be accomplished
Develop meeting format - the methodology behind the way a meeting is run, deigned to promote collaboration and problem solving while encouraging effective engagement
Facilitation of meeting - acting as a navigator to steer attendees to achieving their meeting goals. Facilitators extract insight, knowledge, wisdom and the experience of the group and use it to meet the meeting objectives and outcomes.
